🌎♻️✨This Kimono Element Represents Earth and Relates To Japan’s Bamboo Forests. Bamboo is one of the most sustainable plants that grow by the moment they are planted in the ground. Multiple uses out of the plant such as baskets, hats, roofs, and shoes. Its easy to say there is a parallel between the plant and the materiality of the kimono.
👥Thank You @fab_scrap @goodwillsp and @upcycleartsclt for your contribution & resources!
Each jacket comes with a kimono stand crafted by John Michaels Kitchen, an original wooden repurposed Japanese Package Box, catalog book, handwritten scroll from the designer, and custom gloves for handling purposes only.
